RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS – Sometimes we just need to hibernate, be alone and read a book in bed. Time out is important for one’s selfcare. Rainy Days and Mondays can bring a sense of need of self care. This painting serves to remind us of that. I was listening to s ome of my favourite chilled out music this morning, and The Carpenters “Rainy Days and Mondays” was playing. I had to play it again and again – I was enjoying it so much whilst I painted this piece.

Her true love is abstract artwork using a variety of mediums, including watercolours, acrylics, pastels, graphite and ink. Her abstract art requires that she trusts her intuition and lets go, adding texture, free flowing layers of colour, spontaneous movements, techniques and tools.
"Mark making" features heavily her work, from organic, abstract, spontaneous mark making, to more structured patterns.
